While many volunteers return year after year to work during the Elkhart Jazz Festival weekend, we are always looking for new faces! It's easy to volunteer, and rewarding, too. Each volunteer working at least fours hours receives a complimentary pass to the Saturday or Sunday afternoon session. Sign up soon to make sure you are scheduled for your preferred volunteer assignment and time.

Put your time and talents to work in one of these areas:

Venue Captains and Door Checkers
Make sure attendees have the appropriate ticket for the session and reserved seating sections. Venue Captains stay for the entire session; Door Checkers can work either a 4-hour shift or two 2-hour shifts.

Ticket Sales
Sell tickets prior to the festival opening and throughout the festival weekend.

CD and Merchandise Sales
Sell CDs of festival musicians, plus commemorative Elkhart Jazz Festival merchandise and wearables.

Information Table
Provide information and answer questions for festival visitors.

Production
Assist with setting up chairs at the stages, resetting stages for various performers between sets, and tearing down stages at the end of the festival. Production volunteers are needed Thursday through Sunday evening for various tasks.
