Where can I find a place to eat?
Food vendors will be placed around the festival area. For other dining out, see the dining guide on downtownelkhart.org and don't miss the interactive downtown dining directory that shows precise locations of the many downtown dining options.

What hotel can you recommend?
The Elkhart Jazz Festival cannot recommend specific hotels. However we have compiled a list of nearby hotels, campgrounds, and bed and breakfasts found on our Lodging page. You can also visit the web site of our anchor sponsor, the Elkhart Convention and Visitor's Bureau for more information on lodging and area attractions.

How and where can I get tickets?
Tickets are normally printed in April, and we begin filling ticket orders in May. Approximately two weeks before the festival, all tickets go into "Will Call" and can be picked up at the Festival Headquarters during the weekend. You can order tickets through this website or over the telephone at (800) 597-7627. Or, fax your ticket order to (574) 295-8823 or mail it to the Elkhart Centre, 227 S. Main Street, Elkhart, IN 46516. Please Note: Online ordering will be closed at noon on June 19; after that, tickets must be purchased at Festival Headquarters, which opens at noon on Friday, June 20. Also: Tickets purchased online or via phone after June 9 must be picked up at the "Will Call" table.

Are the venues air-conditioned?

All of the indoor venues are air-conditioned. The tented RiverWalk stage, located on the west bank of the Elkhart River, is air-conditioned. The tented Curtis Pavilion is fan-cooled. The open-air Civic Plaza stage is not air-conditioned.

What should I wear?

Dress is casual and comfortable. Layers are recommended for evening breezes and going to and from air-conditioned venues. Downtown restaurants include both casual and fine dining establishments, but none has a strict dress code during the Jazz Festival weekend.

Are you hiring food vendors for the festival?
The food vendor selection for the 2008 Elkhart Jazz Festival is now closed. If you want to be considered for 2009, download and submit this application after August 1, 2008, and before October 31, 2008.
